Angola Presents Investment Opportunities to American Businessmen in Madrid

Madrid: The panorama of the investment environment in Angola and the potential of the hotel sector were recently presented to businessmen from the Americas in Madrid, Spain, by the Minister of Tourism, M¡rcio Daniel. The Minister highlighted the advantages for investors, including tax benefits and a simplified company registration process, during his presentation at the Investment Forum of the Americas.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the Barcelo, Iberostar, Hayatt, Mi Hotels, and Banyan groups have expressed interest in entering the Angolan market. Angola is positioning itself as an emerging tourist destination, and the entry of these major hotel players is expected to enhance service quality, boost the country's international reputation, and increase accommodation availability.

The Barcelo Hotels Group, with over 90 years in the hospitality industry, is known for its focus on sun and beach tourism, operating resorts in prime locations. Their hotels emphasize sustainability and cater to a variety of vacation preferences.

Iberostar, a Spanish hotel chain established in 1956, operates more than 120 hotels globally. The chain is recognized for its all-inclusive experiences and coastal resorts, with significant investments in African destinations such as Tanzania, Morocco, Cape Verde, and Madagascar.
