Strasbourg: Angola is participating, since Monday (14), in Strasbourg, France, in the Annual Congress of the Society for Robotic Surgery, which aims to discuss the latest advances, innovations, and challenges in the field of robot-assisted surgery.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the Angolan delegation to the event, which runs until the 22nd of this month, is led by the head of the sector, Slvia Lutucuta.
As per the note, the congress constitutes one of the most prestigious international platforms for scientific and tech exchange in the field of robotic surgery, bringing together world-renowned surgeons, researchers, specialists, and policymakers.
It states that the Minister of Health, Slvia Lutucuta, will participate in a High-Level Panel, moderated by Nobel Prize laureates in Medicine and Chemistry.
The document emphasizes that the panel will also feature the Ministers of Health of Rwanda, Morocco, Kuwait, and Panama, representing international recognition of the progress Angola has made in the field of high-tech medicine.
