Rio de Janeiro: Angola and Brazil have decided to relaunch their bilateral cooperation, focusing on enhancing the productive sector with private business as the central anchor. This decision was made during a bilateral meeting between Angola’s President João Lourenço and Brazil’s President Luís Inácio Lula da Silva, which took place on Sunday, on the eve of the G20 meeting currently underway in Rio de Janeiro.

According to Angola Press News Agency, President Lourenço extended an invitation to Brazilian businesspeople to invest in Angola, highlighting the country’s increasingly attractive business environment. The meeting, held at the Copa Cabana Fort, saw the two leaders discuss various concrete issues related to the global agenda, including cooperation in health training, the pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, agro-industry, mineral resources, energy, and the financial sector.
