ANEREE Promotes Renewable Energy Services in Koudougou

Koudougou: The National Agency for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ANEREE) has launched a campaign in Koudougou from September 10 to 13, 2024, aimed at promoting its services and raising awareness of best practices in energy efficiency. This follows similar campaigns in Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso as part of an effort to engage the population in eco-energy behavior.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the campaign focuses on informing the public about services such as quality control of energy equipment, energy audits, and support for infrastructure projects. He emphasized that this outreach is crucial to making ANEREE’s services known to a wider audience, including businesses, public institutions, and local authorities. Gandré explained that the initiative includes quality checks, discussions with project owners, and media involvement to spread awareness.

The Koudougou campaign follows the success of the Ouagadougou event held in June and is expected to help improve access to renewable energy and energy-efficient solutions in Burkina Faso.
