Alliance of Sahel States Launches Inaugural Summer University in Ziniaré

Ziniaré—The Alliance of Sahel States (AES) inaugurated its first summer university this Wednesday, engaging youth leaders from Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger in discussions aimed at rebuilding and stabilizing the sub-region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event, themed "The imperative commitment of the youth of the AES for a real reconstruction of Nations," was officially opened in Ziniaré. The summer university is chaired by the ministers in charge of youth from the AES member states, sponsored by the general directors responsible for volunteers, and held under the patronage of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of Faso and Head of State.

Over the next 72 hours, 251 youth leaders will deliberate on strategies to contribute to the development of a stable and prosperous sub-region. The discussions and activities are designed to harness the dynamic energy and ideas of the young population, focusing on practical steps toward national and regional advancement.
