Malava: The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Returning Officer for Malava Constituency, Salim Abdala Salim, has confirmed that the commission is ready to conduct the by-election set for tomorrow. Speaking to the media, Salim noted that the constituency has over 94,000 registered voters and nine candidates vying for the parliamentary seat.

According to Kenya News Agency, voters will cast their votes in 198 polling stations across the constituency. Salim mentioned that the campaigns ended peacefully and the commission has not received any complaints from any candidate. He assured all the candidates of a free, fair, and credible election, emphasizing that any vote cast in favor of any candidate will count.
