Algeria and Mauritania to Establish Free-Trade Zone

Algiers, Algeria – Algerian President Adelmadjid Tebboune has instructed Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui to initiate a comprehensive study for the creation of a free-trade zone between Algeria and Mauritania. This directive was announced in a press release from the Presidency of the Republic, as reported by local media.

According to Africa News Agency, The proposed free-trade zone aims to diversify economic activities and stimulate regional dynamics, particularly along the Algerian-Mauritanian border. This initiative is seen as a strategic move to enhance trade and economic cooperation between the two North African countries.
