Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The African space industry is estimated to be worth around $20 billion in 2022.
According to a news release by the Africa News Agency, approximately 45 of the targeted 160 satellites for the current year have been launched by African states.
In addition, 81 space application projects are currently underway across the continent in areas like earth observation and satellite communications. Moreover, 221 space and naval companies operating in 31 countries are utilizing earth observation technologies.
