Addis Ababa: The African Defense Ministers’ Conference, focused on enhancing peace, security, and unity across the continent, is set to take place in Addis Ababa next week. Ethiopian Minister of Defense, Engineer Aisha Mohammed, shared details in an exclusive interview with ENA, outlining the conference’s aim to strengthen continental security frameworks and boost military cooperation among African nations.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the conference will be held at the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum and will address key issues such as combating terrorism, collective security concerns, and advancing partnerships in the defense industry. African defense ministers and senior military officials will exchange insights, drawing from the experiences of countries with more developed defense sectors. Additionally, the conference will explore Africa’s role in global peace efforts and cooperation in humanitarian assistance and disaster response.
