Kabul: The Afghan caretaker government’s national procurement commission has approved 27 projects valued at 5 billion afghani, approximately 73 million U.S. dollars. The projects encompass the construction of a water dam, residential apartments, roads, and electrical equipment in Kabul and various provinces across the country.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the office of the acting deputy prime minister for economic affairs announced the approval of these projects, which are expected to provide job opportunities to hundreds of thousands of people. The government aims to address economic challenges and create employment opportunities by launching more development and infrastructure projects throughout the war-torn nation, utilizing its domestic budget.
