AES: A Youth and Adolescent Summit Dedicated to Dialogue and Reflection in Mali

Bamako: Malian Minister of Youth and Sports Abdoul Kassim Fomba, accompanied by his counterparts from Burkina Faso and Niger, opened the AES Youth and Adolescent Summit on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Palais de la Culture in Bamako. The summit aims to create a space for dialogue and reflection dedicated to the youth of the three member countries.



According to Burkina Information Agency, this summit serves as a platform for dialogue and reflection for the youth and adolescents of Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger. It follows the AES Youth Forum, which was held in Niamey from June 27 to 28, and where ten major recommendations were formulated. These recommendations will undergo in-depth discussions during the summit in Bamako.



The summit’s activities are scheduled to continue from July 1 to 3, 2025, in Kabala.
