Kourw©ogo: The executive board of the Association for the Economic and Social Development of Kourw©ogo (ADESK), comprising 25 members, was officially introduced to the provincial authorities of Kourw©ogo. This new entity aims to foster the socioeconomic progress of the province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, ADESK unites individuals from the five communes of Kourw©ogo, positioning itself as a core framework to drive endogenous development. During a meeting with administrative authorities, the executive board was formally presented, signaling the association's intent to address the province's developmental challenges.

Simplice Pousraogo Alfred Kinda, president of ADESK, stated that over 600 individuals have registered on the association's platform. He underscored the necessity of the association, noting Kourw©ogo's lag in strategic sectors like urban planning and trade. Kinda emphasized the collective responsibility of Kourw©ogo's residents to enhance social and material conditions favorable for economic revitalization.

The meeting was part of a broader effort to engage with administrative and customary authorities to garner support for the association. The executive office, with a mandate extending to 2028, plans to achieve official recognition, implement inclusive development initiatives, and empower women and youth economically and socially. Additionally, they aim to organize the inaugural "Kourw©ogo Vert" event.

Mahamadi Congo, High Commissioner of Kourw©ogo, praised the initiative as a testament to the province's dedication to local development. He highlighted Kourw©ogo's strategic location and economic potential, urging ADESK to promote unity and social cohesion to attract investment and enhance economic prosperity.
