Addis Int’l Convention Center Represents Ethiopia’s Potential to Serve as Model for Africa: PM Abiy

Addis Ababa: Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said Addis International Convention Center built through the creativity and hard work of the Ethiopian people, represents the nation’s potential to serve as a model for Africa. The Prime Minister has inaugurated Addis International Convention Center in Addis Ababa.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, during the occasion, the premier stated that the Convention Center signifies the country’s capability to be exemplary to Africa. He urged all Ethiopians to further strengthen their support by recognizing Ethiopia’s aspiration to prosperity and transformation.



The Prime Minister said that we have achieved great results by vigorously launching the Addis Ababa Corridor development; he added that it has raised Ethiopia’s reputation internationally. He stated that the new International Convention Center is a demonstration of this result noting that it will be a place where business transactions will take place, and ideas will be exchanged and developed.



The Convention Center will also serve as a venue where Ethiopia will conduct international diplomacy. The center will host conferences and trade fairs that are instrumental in bringing Africans together, the Premier said. He also announced that an International Artificial Intelligence Conference and Exhibition will be held soon at the Convention Center.
