ADDIS ABABA: The 6th international integrated agricultural products trade fair opened in Addis Ababa at the Millennium Hall today. A total of 123 Ethiopian and foreign companies are participating in the three-day trade fair to showcase their agricultural products and services.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the fair aims to attract more investment in the sector and promote manufacturing products. The event also encourages innovations, creates market linkages, and enhances technology transfer and experience sharing among participants. Tourism State Minister Lensa Mekonen highlighted the fair’s role in invigorating investment and tourism activities in Ethiopia. Turkish Ambassador to Ethiopia Berk Baran noted that such trade fairs are important instruments for strengthening trade and investment cooperation between countries. The ambassador commended Ethiopia’s ongoing efforts to bolster industrial and agricultural productivity to ensure food security.
