Poa: The great mosque of Poa vibrated on Sunday, January 18, to the rhythm of the 8th edition of the annual Islamic conference, placed under the sign of social cohesion, AIB observed. This meeting brought together worshippers and religious leaders around a central theme: "the devastating impact of jealousy on the social fabric." During two hours of intense discussion (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.), Sheikh Adam Isma«l Dera, assisted by Sheikh Muhammad Isaq Kindo, analyzed the mechanisms of jealousy and its harmful consequences on community life.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the communicators, addressing an audience comprised of the local Muslim community and the Sunni movement, urged the faithful to cultivate altruism to foster an environment of peace. The event was marked by the presence of influential figures, notably the president of the Muslim community of Boulkiemd©, El Hadj Issa Semd©. In his capacity as patron, he reaffirmed that such initiatives are essential to fostering positive change in civic behavior.
Alongside him, the second patron, El Hadj Souleymane Nana, encouraged support for these spiritual activities, recalling the moral significance and divine recognition linked to this commitment. The Chief of the Poa commune, present at the ceremony, took the opportunity to commend the initiative. He offered his wishes and prayers for the stability and prosperity of the country, emphasizing that the strength of a nation lies in the harmony between its sons and daughters.
This 8th edition confirms the commitment of Poa's faithful to making moral values the foundation of collective well-being and the strengthening of national unity.
