Djibasso: 85 candidates were admitted to the first round of the baccalaureate for the 2025 session in jury 12 of the commune of Djibasso, as announced this Thursday, July 3, 2025.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the announcement was made by Soumala Guiro, the president of the 12th Jury. Guiro highlighted the seventh component of the presidential initiative, which includes a patriotic immersion for those admitted to this year’s baccalaureate. This initiative is set to begin in August 2025 for new graduates.
The results brought diverse reactions: joy for those admitted, hope for those eligible for the next round, and dismay for those who did not pass. In the A4 series, 67 out of 114 candidates were successful, with a breakdown of 49 boys and 27 girls, achieving a success rate of 58.26%. In the D series, 18 out of 66 students succeeded, split evenly between 9 girls and 9 boys, resulting in a 26.87% success rate.
The written tests for the second round are scheduled for July 7 and 8, 2025, with final results expected by July 10, 2025. The 2025 session was notable for the significant presence of various actors involved in the process.
