6th Zoula Tam Tam Festival Set to Enliven Réo with Cultural Celebrations.

Ouagadougou: The Zoula ‘dui-nye’ Association (ADZ) is organizing the 6th edition of the Zoula Tam Tam Festival (in the commune of Réo) from December 6 to 8, AIB learned from the organizers of this cultural event. “From December 6 to 8, 2024, the village of Zoula, commune of Réo, will vibrate to the rhythm of the Tam Tam Festival of Zoula. Organized by the DUI-NYE Association of Zoula (ADZ), this major cultural event is in its sixth edition and promises a weekend rich in discoveries and emotions,” mentioned the ADZ association.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting is set “on the grounds of the Catholic school for a total immersion in the local culture. On the program: captivating traditional dances, traditional songs full of history, tales and legends that will fascinate young and old, enriching training, traditional wrestling demonstrations, thrilling football matches, a suspenseful women’s cycle race, a lively shopping street and captivating exhibitions.”

The organizers also announced that
there will be “numerous artistic performances to complement this already enticing program.”

“The Zoula Tam Tam Festival is much more than just an event. It is a true testimony to the rich cultural heritage of the Sanguié province. A unique opportunity to discover the vitality and diversity of Zoula’s traditions, while sharing friendly and festive moments,” concludes the event’s reference document.

While inviting the population to come out in large numbers, the organizers also thanked the partners who support them for the success of the Festival.
