572 Candidates Take the Primary School Leaving Certificate Exam in Komto¨ga

Noumbiel: The written tests for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the entrance exam for sixth grade, 2026 session, were officially launched Tuesday at the Komto¨ga 'B' public primary school by the prefect and president of the special delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Komto¨ga, Mariama Nakouari. The launch ceremony took place in the presence of security authorities, actors in the education system as well as members of the special delegation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, in this session, 572 candidates are competing for the first diploma in the school curriculum. On this occasion, the President of the special delegation of Komto¨ga and the head of the Basic Education District (CEB), Lucien Bila, invited the candidates to approach the different tests with confidence, serenity, and discipline.

In the commune of Komto¨ga, the examination is organised around a single jury distributed between two composition centres: the Komto¨ga 'B' centre and the Goghin centre. After the official launch in Komto¨ga 'B', the authorities went to the Goghin center where they delivered the same messages of encouragement to the candidates.

The first day of the exams took place in a calm atmosphere at both examination centers.
