Gay©ri: The High Commissioner of the province of Komondjari, Valentin Gnanou, officially launched the written tests for the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) 2026 session at the provincial high school of Gay©ri this Tuesday. The initiation of the exams was marked by the ceremonial opening of the envelope containing the first test subjects in French, attended by the provincial director of secondary education and vocational and technical training (DPESFPT), jury presidents, examiners, security agents, and the police commissioner of Gay©ri.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial director responsible for secondary education in Komondjari, Harouna D©card Sawadogo, mentioned that out of the 58 candidates initially registered, 54 candidates participated in the written tests. Sawadogo noted that the four absent candidates were independent, comprising three boys and one girl. He highlighted the presence and support of the High Commissioner, who provided advice to the candidates before proceeding with the formal commencement of the exams by opening the first envelope of exam papers.
Administrative, educational, and security authorities acknowledged the orderly start of the exams and encouraged candidates to maintain calmness, discipline, and focus throughout the testing period. The provincial directorate of secondary education and vocational and technical training in Komondjari had previously presented 34 candidates in 2024 and 44 candidates in 2025, illustrating a gradual increase in candidate participation over the years.
