Bamako: The prefect, president of the special delegation of the commune of Zambo, Tass©r© Badini, officially commenced the written tests for the primary school certificate (CEP) on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. This event took place at the secondary center of Tovor, attended by administrative, educational, customary authorities, and the Defense and Security Forces.
According to Burkina Information Agency, a total of 517 candidates, comprising 282 girls and 235 boys, have registered for the CEP exams in Zambo. These candidates are distributed across three secondary centers. The number of candidates has seen a significant rise compared to the previous year, which had 440 participants.
The initial envelope opened by Mr. Badini contained the writing test, focusing on road safety. Candidates were tasked to advise their classmates on avoiding accidents, highlighting the importance of safety awareness. Mr. Badini encouraged the candidates to tackle the tests with calmness, focus, and confidence to achieve favorable outcomes.
K´g Narcisse Hien, the head of the basic education district of Zambo, reported that the examinations are proceeding smoothly, with proper oversight by the jury members and exam organizers.
