ADDIS ABABA: The 46th Ordinary General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) commenced today in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, bringing together a significant gathering of football leaders and stakeholders. The assembly was inaugurated with the presence of Ethiopia’s President Taye Atske Selassie, CAF President Patrice Motsepe, FIFA President Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino, and FIFA Secretary General Matthias Grafström.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the assembly has attracted presidents of CAF member countries’ football federations, regional football associations, and other stakeholders involved in the sport. The agenda is expected to include discussions on various issues affecting African football, with the aim of making decisions that will shape the future of the sport on the continent.
