Namentenga: 3,032 students from the intermediate classes of the high schools of Boulsa and Z©gu©d©guin began, on Monday, January 5, 2026, the first edition of the Civic and Patriotic Instructional Training (ECP) lasting 42 days, under the command of the head of the Cheetah unit of Boulsa, Second Lieutenant G©rard Sindogo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, moral, civic, and military education forms the basis of this patriotic immersion. The students from the 6th, 5th, 4th, 2nd, and 1st grades, from public and private schools in Boulsa and Z©gu©d©guin, numbering 3,032, are following their patriotic immersion at different sites in the commune of Boulsa for a period of 42 days.
Moral and physical education, focused on civic, disciplinary, and patriotic values, constitutes the main module of Civic and Patriotic Education (CPE). "This immersion aims to facilitate the building of patriotic citizens capable of positively impacting the life of the nation, within the framework of the process of rebuilding Burkinabe society," recalled Lieutenant G©rard Sindogo, commander of the Cheetah unit in Boulsa.
He added that "thanks to the support of well-intentioned individuals and the commitment of the military and paramilitary forces, students and teachers, the challenges related to technical supervision and logistics were successfully met." The High Commissioner of the province of Namentenga, Adama Conseiga, also expressed his satisfaction, during his tour, with the smooth running of the patriotic immersion.
It should be noted that students who pass the various school exams in the 2026 session will in turn benefit from this immersion during the holidays. Regarding the newly updated school schedules, Second Lieutenant Sindogo clarified that the program will be readjusted so that the immersion takes place normally and ends on the scheduled date.
