Russie: The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, in charge of Relations with Institutions, Keeper of the Seals, Me Edasso Rodrigue BAYALA, took part, with his counterparts from the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), in the work of the 13th International Legal Forum of Saint Petersburg, which was held from May 19 to 21, 2025 in the Russian Federation. This meeting, which brought together 24 justice ministers, was chaired by His Excellency Mr. Chuychencko Konstantin, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, during his address, Minister Bayala presented the significant progress made under the PA-SD, with an implementation rate of 88.38% as of December 31, 2024, illustrating the significant progress made in the Justice and Human Rights sector. Following this ministerial meeting and the plenary session, the AES ministers had a one-on-one meeting with their Russian counterparts to strengthen the areas of judicial cooperation between their nations.
