Komondjari: 193 candidates are taking the CEP exam in Gay©ri. The Basic Education District (CEB) of Gay©ri presented 193 candidates for the Primary School Certificate (CEP), 2026 session, out of an initial number of 206 registered, representing a participation rate of 93.69%.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the official launch of the tests was carried out by the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education of Komondjari, Mr. Yatenyoua Lucien Ouoba, through the opening of the envelope containing the writing subject, the first test of the session. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Head of the Basic Education District of Gay©ri, Mr. Raogo Darankoum, the president of the jury, the presidents of the centers, the agents of the security forces, as well as the supervisors.
Before the start of the exams, the Provincial Director addressed words of encouragement to the candidates. He congratulated them on their resilience in the face of the challenges of the local context and encouraged them to remain focused in order to pass their exam.
According to the jury president, Mr. Prosper Ou©draogo, the proceedings got off to a good start. He indicated that 193 candidates actually took part in the exam out of the 206 initially registered, representing a participation rate of 93.69%. The opening of the envelope for the second test, the dictation, was carried out by the High Commissioner of the province of Komondjari, accompanied by the police commissioner of Gay©ri. On this occasion, the provincial authority urged candidates to remain calm and focused throughout the exams.
The 2026 session of the CEP is therefore taking place in conditions deemed satisfactory by the educational and administrative officials of the province.
