16 Students Celebrated for Mastery of the Holy Quran at CERFI Headquarters

Tenkodogo: 16 students celebrated for their mastery of the Holy Quran at the CERFI headquarters. The regional headquarters of CERFI Nakamb© in Tenkodogo served as the setting, this Sunday, for a graduation ceremony of 16 learners, including 12 women and 4 men, who have learned to read and memorize the Holy Quran, in the presence of the regional coordinator of CERFI, officials of the Muslim Institute of Teaching and Education (IM2E), teachers, religious guides and many families who came to celebrate this spiritual achievement.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was placed under the sign of recognition and excellence in learning the Holy Book, marking the end of reading and memorizing the Quran and highlighting the efforts made by the learners throughout their training.

In his speech, the representative of the laureates, Amadou Ou©draogo, expressed the recipients' gratitude to the officials of CERFI Nakamb©, the teachers, and the parents for their constant support in this quest for Islamic knowledge. "This diploma is not an end, but a beginning. Our commitment now is to live the Quran, to apply it in our daily lives and to transmit this light around us," he said.

CERFI Regional Coordinator Nakamb© Halidou Yigo praised the determination of the award-winning women and recalled the importance of religious education in consolidating the values of peace, discipline, and social cohesion within communities. He also encouraged the students to remain role models of behavior inspired by the teachings of the Holy Quran.

The ceremony was punctuated by Quranic readings, invocations, testimonies, and the presentation of certificates to the winners. For their part, the institute's leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continuing Islamic training initiatives for the benefit of young people and women in the Nakamb© region.

Through this activity, CERFI Nakamb© intends to promote the learning of the Holy Quran and strengthen spiritual and educational values within Burkinabe society.
