1,500 Candidates Commence Exams for 2025 Baccalaureate Session in Ioba

Ioba: The High Commissioner of the province of Ioba, Innocents Ouattara, initiated the start of the written exams for the 2025 baccalaureate session at the provincial high school in Dano. This event marks a significant milestone for the 1,500 candidates participating in this crucial academic assessment.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony took place at jury 450 of the Dano center, where Innocents Ouattara opened the envelope containing the first test for the baccalaureate series A4 and series D. The candidates from series A4 began with their philosophy test, while those from series D commenced with the French subject.

Before the exams began, the High Commissioner encouraged the candidates, expressing his hopes for their success. "For us, it's about reassuring the candidates. We told them that the composition is conducted like homework in class. We encouraged them to approach the subjects with great serenity," stated Mr. Ouattara.

The provincial director in charge of secondary education, Joseph Kima, provided insights into the logistics of the exams, highlighting that the baccalaureate exam is conducted in two centers within the Ioba province, namely Dano and Dissihn. The Dano center hosts three juries, two located at the Ioba provincial high school and a third at the private vocational high school, while Dissihn accommodates two juries.

Joseph Kima also mentioned a decrease in the number of candidates this year. "The number of candidates is down this year. In 2024, we had six juries. However, this session, we only have five," he explained. Despite the reduction, he confirmed that the examination process had begun smoothly across all five juries in Ioba province.
