Ioba: The High Commissioner of the province of Ioba, Innocents Ouattara, initiated the written examinations for the 2025 baccalaureate session at the provincial high school of Ioba in Dano. This commencement took place on Tuesday, June 24, with the opening of the first test envelopes for the BAC series A4 and series D at jury 450 of the Dano center.

According to Burkina Information Agency, candidates in the A4 series began their exams with the philosophy test, while those in the D series tackled the French subject. High Commissioner Ouattara encouraged the candidates, advising them to approach the exams with calmness and confidence, likening the process to regular classroom assignments.

The provincial director of secondary education, Joseph Kima, highlighted that the baccalaureate exam is being conducted in two centers within Ioba province: Dano and Dissihn. The Dano center hosts three juries, with two located at the Ioba provincial high school and the third at a private vocational high school. Dissihn features two additional juries.

“The number of candidates has decreased this year,” explained Joseph Kima. “In 2024, there were six juries, but this session, we only have five.” Despite the reduction in the number of juries, Kima noted that the examinations commenced smoothly across the five juries in the province.
