149 Candidates in Godin Undertake Primary School Certificate Exams Amid Heightened Security

Bissiga: The Basic Education District of Bissiga has commenced the 2026 session of Primary School Certificate (CEP) exams and the entrance competition for sixth grade at the Godin public primary school. A total of 149 candidates have embarked on these crucial exams under the supervision of administrative, educational, and security authorities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the exams began with 149 candidates, comprising 75 girls and 74 boys, out of the 158 initially registered. The candidates, divided into three examination rooms, underwent standard procedures including roll call and identity verification in the early hours of the morning.

The official commencement at Godin public primary school was led by the President of the Special Delegation of the commune, Benjamin Zalv©, alongside Chief Warrant Officer Mamane S. Yonli, head of the Bissiga zone detachment. Prior to opening the first exam envelope, Zalv© offered guidance to the candidates, urging them to maintain focus, calmness, and diligence to excel in their assessments.

Jury president Hamado Niki©ma assured candidates of the robust security measures in place, highlighting the presence of Defense and Security Forces and Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland, aimed at ensuring a secure and conducive examination environment.

The exams will span three days, comprising written, oral, and physical tests. Authorities have reiterated their commitment to supporting education and ensuring optimal conditions for students to achieve their first school diploma in this resilient and collectively mobilized effort.
