Dissihn: The examinations for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the Junior High School Certificate (BEPC) were officially launched on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in the commune of Dissihn. The president of the special delegation of the commune, Benjamin Nana, officially inaugurated the two school exams in attendance with administrative, educational, religious, and military authorities.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch of the CEP took place at the Nakar public primary school, while the BEPC was initiated at the Dissihn departmental high school. On this occasion, Benjamin Nana praised the quality of certain tests, particularly the CEP writing test, which he considered accessible and adapted to the level of the candidates. He remarked that the subject was easy to understand, believing that all candidates should be able to comprehend it without difficulty.
In total, 1,238 candidates are taking the CEP and the entrance exam for sixth grade, divided into two juries, each comprising three examination centers. For the BEPC, 538 candidates are competing, with the departmental high school serving as the main examination center, supported by eight secondary centers divided into three juries.
Among the candidates, optimism was evident. B¨kuon¨ Som© Eliak, a candidate for the BEPC, expressed satisfaction with the French exam, which he found manageable, while hoping that the subsequent exams would be of the same level. The PDS, Benjamin Nana, and the head of the basic education district of Dissihn, Soninuor Meda, expressed their wishes for the exams to proceed smoothly. They sought the mercy of heaven, spirits, and ancestors for the tests to occur without incident and hoped for satisfactory results to be announced on June 9 for the BEPC and, if possible, June 12 for the CEP.
