122 Candidates Vie for Teaching Certificate in Ioba Amid Strict Anti-Fraud Measures

DANO, IOBA PROVINCE — A total of 122 candidates embarked on the rigorous process to obtain the Certificate of Teaching Aptitude for School Teaching (CAPPE) for the 2025 session, as exams commenced on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Dano, Ioba Province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Bernadette Adenyo/Sermé, who presided over the start of the exams at Dreyer Primary School, 119 candidates, comprising 32 women and 87 men, participated in the theoretical test. The High Commissioner, flanked by a substantial delegation, visited the exam venue to boost the morale of both the jury and the candidates. During her visit, she underscored the importance of integrity in the examination process and urged candidates to avoid any fraudulent activities.

The CAPPE examination began promptly at 7:25 a.m. with the High Commissioner ceremonially opening the envelope containing the theoretical test questions. This initial phase will be followed by a practical test in the classroom, where eligible candidates will demonstrate their teaching abilities to qualify for final admission in 2025.
