104 Candidates Participate in Professional Qualification Exams in Hound©

Ouagadougou: 104 candidates are taking exams in the sewing and weaving trades in Hound©. The Secretary General of the Tuy Province, Dieudonn© Zeida, launched the 2026 Professional Qualification Certificate (CQP) examinations on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the sole examination center, number 178, located at the Center for Education and Social Promotion (CEPS) in Hound©. One hundred and four candidates sat for the exams, including 100 girls and four boys.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the province of Tuy has 114 candidates registered for this exam, including 110 girls and four boys. Ten candidates were absent. Therefore, 104 candidates actually took part in the written exams: 100 girls and four boys. The candidates were divided into 68 in the sewing trade and 36 in the weaving trade.

They come from private workshops or vocational training centers, non-formal basic education centers (CEBNF), education and social promotion centers (CEPS) in the province of Tuy as well as the localities of P S and Boromo.

Accompanied by the provincial director of secondary education, vocational and technical training of Tuy, Seydou Traor©, and officials from the Defense and Security Forces, the secretary general of the province visited the examination rooms. He encouraged the candidates and urged them to have confidence in themselves. "We came to encourage you and wish you good luck," he said. Comrade Zeida exhorted the candidates to remain focused during the exams and to avoid any act of cheating. After speaking with the candidates, he opened the envelope containing the first exam, a sewing test called "Workshop Technology."

The provincial director of secondary, vocational, and technical education for Tuy, Seydou Traor©, indicated that the exams were being administered smoothly. He urged the invigilators to remain vigilant and encouraged the candidates to rely on their own abilities to succeed in their exams.
