North West SCOPA to meet Community Safety and Arts & Culture Departments over 2019/20 Audit Reports
On Friday, 03 September 2021, the North West Provincial Legislature’s Standing Committee on Provincial Public Accounts (SCOPA) will hold virtual Public Finance Management Act public hearings with the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, North West Transport Investment and Department of Arts, Culture and Sports Recreation and Mmabana Sports Foundation over 2019/20 Audit Reports at 09h00.
Amongst others, the Public Accounts Committee will hold the Community Safety department accountable on the irregular expenditure of R 1,2 billion, and the Mmabana Sports Foundation on the funds allocated for Mahika Mahikeng event.
The Public Finance Management Act public hearings are scheduled as follows:
