The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr Blade Nzimande, will tomorrow, 21st July 2021, visit Ulundi and Nongoma at the Zululand District in KwaZulu Natal as part of the government outreach programme following the recent acts of looting and destruction of private and public property.
Minister Nzimande outreach programme is aimed at engaging stakeholders on the impact of the recent acts of looting and vandalism at Nongoma Local Municipality.
The Minister will also get a briefing on the vaccination programme rollout in the Zululand District.
Minister Nzimande will be joined by the KZN Human Settlement and Public Works MEC, Mr Jomo Sibiya ( Provincial Zululand District Development Champion), Zululand District Mayor, Cllr Thulasizwe Buthelezi, and the Nongoma Local Municipality Executive Mayor, Cllr Albert Mncwango, Local Councillors and senior government officials.
MEC Jomo Sibiya will also receive his Covid-19 vaccination jab at the Mthashana TVET College.
