Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Miss Mbali Hlophe will tomorrow, the 12th of January 2022 visit two schools and an Early Childhood Development Centre in Soweto to assess their readiness for the 2022 academic year.
In her engagement with the School Management Team, the MEC will speak about the Wednesday School League, Arts and Cultural activities.
The MEC will also be donating sports attire and equipment, mobile library trolleys and together with the management of Canon, a brand new photocopy and printing machines to the two identified schools. Puzzles and building blocks donated by Exodus wholesale and retail will be handed to the Early Child Centre.
The MEC will be joined by Sports and Entertainment personalities such as Lucky Lekgwathi, Mlungisi Mathe and more.
