Electoral Commission releases preliminary report on the candidate nomination process

The Electoral Commission invites members of the media to a briefing.

The Commission will release a preliminary report on the candidate nomination process which opened on 3 August 2021 and closed at 9pm yesterday.

The report will further provide details of activities captured through the online candidate nomination system as well as walk-ins at the local electoral offices.

Venue: The Nerve Centre at the Election House, 1303 Heuwel Road, Centurion

The briefing will be streamed live on the Commission’s Facebook account.

The Electoral Commission complies with all COVID-19 health and safety protocols and as a result, only a maximum of 15 media people will be allowed at the Nerve Centre.
