Africa – Visa has announced the selection of 23 start-ups from nine African countries for the inaugural cohort of its ‘Visa Africa Fintech’ acceleration program. This program underscores Visa’s commitment to supporting fintech entrepreneurs and start-ups in Africa by offering training, networking, technology, and investment opportunities.

According to Africa News Agency, the multinational plans to invest $1 billion in financial services in Africa by 2027. This investment is aimed at advancing the continent’s economy and promoting inclusive growth, demonstrating Visa’s dedication to fostering financial innovation and empowerment in Africa.
