Fanta Jarjue, a native of Busura village in Kombo Central District West Coast Region is appealing to the government, individual philanthropists and NGOs to support her and her children.
Fanta a middle aged woman delivered triplets twice and a set of twins. According to her, it is difficult for her and her husband to take proper care and put food on the table for their siblings. “This is why I do go out to beg for our daily survival from people not only here in Brikama but I do travel up to Serekunda and Banjul,” Fanta Jarjue told Daily Observer in a sad mood.
She revealed that her first born the twins are now six years old, the first batch of triplets four years old and her last triplets are one year five months old. She said all the eight children are alive . “The first triplets and twins were taken to my mother in Binjona, Casamance due to difficulties in getting their daily meals,” Fanta informed the Daily Observer.
Bubacarr Jatta, the father of the children also expressed similar sentiments, while appealing for assistance from the government, and NGOs among others to come to their aid.
