The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the African Union Mission invite you to a special briefing on sustainable development in Africa on the occasion of the visit of the UNEP Regional Director for Africa, Dr. Juliette Biao Koudenoukpo. H.E. Ambassador Michael Moussa-Adamo of Gabon will provide keynote remarks.
The event will highlight issues pertinent to the continent, including: illegal trade in wildlife, environment and health, the African Renewable Initiative, oceans, and youth engagement. The briefing will be followed by an interactive conversation on how these topics drive national and international actions.
