The peace deal signed at the end of August in South Sudan will allow the nation to focus on development, according to a senior government official.

Manasseh Magok Rundial, Speaker of the National Legislative Assembly, was in New York to attend the Fourth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament, which ended on Wednesday.

Ana Carmo asked him about the inherent challenges of building a democracy in the world’s youngest country.
