LUANDA, Nov 25 (NNN-ANGOP) — President Jacob Zuma of South Africa has held talks here with the Angolan Head of State, President José Eduardo dos Santos, in the context of strengthening bilateral co-operation.
President Zuma, who left here Tuesday after his official 24-hour visit to Angola, analyzed with President dos Santos matters of bilateral interest as well as issues related to the political situation in southern Africa and issues of international interest in general.
President Zuma was seen off from the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport here by Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs Georges Chikoti, senior officials, diplomats, and the Governor of Luanda Province, Graciano Domingo.
The political consultation between the two Heads of State on regional and international issues and strengthening the existing co-operation between Angola and South Africa were at the top of the objectives of the visit of the South African president to Angola. — NNN-ANGOP
