More and more civilians are turning to the UN Mission in South Sudan for protection from escalating violence brought on by renewed division between the country’s top two leaders.
In early June, heavy fighting in the capital Juba sent thousands of people running to the protection of civilian sites in and around the main UN compound.
These camps have been up and running in various parts of the country for the past two years.
