WINDHOEK: The Roads Authority (RA) has implemented the written testing method for learners’ licences at Rundu, Grootfontein, Tsumeb, Eenhana, Outapi, Outjo, Oshakati and Ongwediva also.
The written testing method was previously used at Namibia Traffic Information Systems’ (NaTIS) offices in the capital, Okahandja, Gobabis, Mariental, Walvis Bay and Swakopmund only, the RA’s Corporate Communications’ Manager Hileni Fillemon said in a media statement today.
Plans are furthermore afoot to start using the written testing method in Otjiwarongo, Karasburg, Luderitz and Keetmanshoop, with implementation dates to be announced in due course.
Fillemon also announced that the coupon system used for learners’ licence testing which only accommodated 168 bookings per day at the NaTIS Valley in the capital, has been done away with.
‘Applicants who wish to make a booking for the learners’ licence will be assisted any time between 08h00 and 15h30 at NaTIS Valley, and will be allocated the next available date and timeslot to do a learners’ test,’ she explained.
