ARANDIS: Registration for this year’s Arandis Investment Conference and Mineral, Mining and Energy Expo officially opened here on Tuesday.
Arandis Mayor Daniel Muhuura at a media briefing held at Arandis on Tuesday extended an invitation to all potential investors and stakeholders to register well in advance in order to ensure a place at the event.
Registration ends at the start of the investment conference on 25 April and registration forms are available from the Arandis Town Council offices and on the town council’s website.
The two-day conference will focus on the investment potential Arandis holds due to its strategic geographical location and the potential of the town’s growth in industrialisation, education, mining and tourism, particularly in serving the mining industry in the Erongo Region.
It will run concurrently with the three-day Mineral, Mining and Energy Expo.
The theme of the 2013 conference and expo will be ‘Finding Financial Solutions for Sustainable Development Initiatives.’
The Mayor said last year’s investors’ conference was very successful as it has led to a lot of development currently visible at the town.
These include the construction of a three-storey hotel valued at N.dollars 30 million and a significant increase in industrial development.
“It is evident that we are achieving our objectives and that investors are confident that it is feasible to conduct business in Arandis,” Muhuura stated.
