President Cyril Ramaphosa will tomorrow, Thursday, 03 December 2020 at 9h00, deliver the keynote address on the first day of the South African Local Government Association’s (SALGA) two-day virtual National Members Assembly (NMA).
The Assembly is SALGA’s constitutional body and is held twice in between the SALGA National Conferences.
The NMA is attended by delegates from all municipalities, provincial and national government, key stakeholders and international partner organisations including SADC and other sister organisations from the continent. The NMA will reflect on “Celebrating 20 Years of Democratic Local Government”.
SALGA is the constitutionally mandated organisation responsible for local government oversight.
