President of Faso Meets with Venezuelan Leader on Russian Visit

Moscow: The audience schedule of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAOR€š¬…¡¬°, promises to be busy in Russia. As soon as he arrived in Moscow this Thursday, in favor of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Russian victory over Nazism, he granted his first audience to the Venezuelan delegation led by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas MADURO, who said he was “very happy to meet President TRAOR€š¬…¡¬°.”



According to Burkina Information Agency, issues of cooperation between the two states as well as international issues were discussed during this meeting between the two leaders. For President Nicolas MADURO, “beyond strengthening relations between Burkina Faso and Venezuela, it is about building good things between Africa and South America. We are brothers and sisters of the same mother, Africa, and today, we have embarked on a new path together,” he emphasizes.



Regarding the current leadership of our country under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim TRAOR€š¬…¡¬°, President MADURO is very admiring: “We admire the struggle that Burkina Faso is waging for freedom, independence, and justice.”



The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Burkina Faso, beyond exemplary cooperation relations in various fields, have a convergence of views on multilateral cooperation and global governance.
