President Joo Louren§o Chairs National Security Council Meeting

Luanda: President Joo Louren§o and Commander-in-Chief of the Angolan Armed Forces, led on Thursday the third ordinary session of the National Security Council.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the National Security Council is the advisory body to the Head of State on matters related to the conduct of national security policy and strategy. It is responsible for issuing opinions on the organization, functioning, and discipline of the Angolan Armed Forces, the National Police, and other agencies responsible for ensuring public order and security.
