Premier Modise to talk on Service Delivery and a Developmental State in South Africa

_: North West Premier Mme Thandi Modise is to deliver a keynote address and Public lecture titled “Service Delivery and a Developmental State in South Africa” in Polokwane, Limpopo Province on Saturday.

The Turfloop Graduate School of Leadership of the University of Limpopo has invited Premier Modise as a guest speaker and to deliver the keynote address at the public lecture to be hosted at the Bolivia Lodge as from 10h00.

The lecture is part of Public Service Week which is an integral part of the Batho Pele movement aimed at instilling and/or rebuilding good ethics, morale and pride in public servants to encourage the culture of providing quality services.

This year’s Public Service Week is celebrated under the theme “15 Years of Batho Pele: Strengthening the Ethos of Batho Pele & Recommitment towards an Efficient, Effective and Development Oriented Public Service and Empowered Citizenry”.

Other speakers on the short programme include the Vice Chancellor and Principal of the University of Limpopo Professor Nehemia Mashomanye Mokgalong, Soviet Lekganyane-ANC Limpopo Provincial Secretary, Councillor Freddy Greaver -Executive Mayor of Polokwane Municipality and Professor Pumela Msweli-Executive Dean of the Faculty of Management and Law.
