Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to visit Ukraine (Monday, July 5, 2021)

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to Ukraine on Monday, July 5, 2021.
In Kiev, he is expected to be received by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and by the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament, Dmytro Razumkov, and meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba.
Talks are expected to focus on deepening bilateral political, economic and cultural relations, the European Union’s Eastern Neighbourhood policy, and in particular EU-Ukraine relations, as well as the wider developments in the region of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
After talks with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, joint statements are expected to follow at about 11:45 (Greek time). The Minister of Foreign Affairs is also expected to address the Conference “Forum Ukraine 30. International Politics” (at about 10:30, Greek time).
The Minister of Foreign Affairs will then travel to Odessa, where he will visit the Museum of the Filiki Etairia (Society of Friends), as well as the Greek Park. He is also expected to have meetings with representatives of the Greek communities, as well as with entrepreneurs operating in the area.
