Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to travel to Slovenia (2-3 September 2021)

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to Slovenia, where he will participate tomorrow, Thursday, September 2, in the conference “2021 Bled Strategic Forum” and specifically in the panel entitled: “Mediterranean: A Geostrategic Chessboard” (15:15-16:45 Greek time).

The Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain will also participate in the panel.

Mr. Dendias will then attend the informal meeting of EU Foreign Ministers (Gymnich), which will begin on Thursday with a discussion on developments in Afghanistan.

On Friday, September 3, there will be a series of discussions on the European Union’s relations with the Gulf countries and China.

The informal EU Foreign Ministers meeting will conclude with a working lunch of European Foreign Ministers with their Indian counterpart.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs is expected to make brief statements on Friday at about 09:45, Greek time.
