Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to participate in the extraordinary informal EU Foreign Affairs Council in Paris (22 February 2022)

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will participate in the extraordinary, informal EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC), which will take place in Paris today, February 22, 2022.

The Foreign Affairs Council is convened for an extraordinary session following Russia’s recognition of the illegal and unilateral declaration of “independence” of Ukraine’s separatist regions of Donetsk and Luhansk on February 21, 2022. EU Foreign Ministers will discuss the situation in Ukraine as well as the EU’s response and next steps following the abovementioned development.
